Shannon May Powell is a poet, artist and somatic experiencing facilitator based on sovereign Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Country. Their practice explores gender and sexuality with poetry, performance, video and photography. While they studied writing and philosophy at university, their practice is grounded in the body and is socially activated by the people and places that they collaborate with.
