Jenny Hickinbotham created Sticks and Stones will Break my Bones but Words can Totally Destroy my Mind for Blindside Gallery April 2022. She has performed and sang hand-written songs, exhibited aself portrait with a Dax Collection selection of work for the 2022 Big Anxiety Festival and Forum, performed with her band for HillSceneLIVE Speculative Beginnings Festival and presented at conferences using song and language. In 2023 she drove to Fremantle escaping family violence and creating Songs of my Adventures, Songs of my Personal Growth Journey and three sculptural paintings for DADAA Gallery. Jenny is currently creating Homelessness Turquoise for her next show and undertaking her PhD studies/research.
