Georgie Fehringer is an MFA candidate at the University of Iowa’s Nonfiction Writing Program, an Iowa Arts Fellow, and the Emerging Writers Festival Writer-in-Residence 2022. They are a reviewer for Publisher’s Weekly and their writing has appeared in Black Warrior Review, The Chicago Review of Books, The Rumpus, The Cleveland Review of Books, TIMBER, and The Amistad, among others. They live in Iowa City with their (very) clumsy cat Mushu.
