Aaron Fa’Aoso is a Torres Strait Islander film producer, director, screenwriter and actor. His debut memoir So Far, So Good, was released last year. Aaron is known for his roles in Black Comedy, East West 101, The Straits, and as the presenter of Strait to the Plate. Aaron is the Managing Director of media production company Lone Star, with outputs including documentary series Blue Water Empire: the history of the Torres Strait Islands. Aaron is a board member of SBS and of Screen Queensland, and is appointed to the Queensland Government’s Path to Truth and Treaty Independent Interim Body.
