Marion (Flo) Hood is a relation of Bessy Cameron (Flowers) c.1849-1895 who was moved from Albany, Western Australia to eastern Victoria in 1867. She’s a direct descendant of Bessy’s eldest daughter, Annie Magdalene, or Maggie, as she was affectionately known. Maggie was born at Ramahyuck Aboriginal Mission in 1869 and married Thomas Bryant in 1890. The couple had six children: Elizabeth (Bessy) (c. 1889–1922), Thomas Donald (c.1894–unknown), Roy (unknown), William Keith (c.1901–unknown), Muriel Winifred (c.1904– unknown) and Keith (c.1907; †1975).
