Simone Weil once wrote that ‘attention, taken to its highest degree, is the same thing as prayer’ – but what about distraction? In an attention economy where textual engagement is constantly subject to the news cycle, the fragment, virality and the scroll, what is it to be distracted, and what makes it compelling? Join these artists for some late-night poetic, prosaic and musical ruminations on the subject.
