Miriam writes stories in and around Naarm/Melbourne. You can read her in places like Aniko Magazine, Island online, The Suburban Review, swim meet lit mag and certain zines. In 2022 she was a Wheeler Centre Hot Desk Fellow, runner up in both the Neilma Sidney Short Story Prize and the Olga Masters Short Story Award, long listed for the Calibre Essay Prize and shortlised for the KYD Creative Nonfiction Essay Prize. She is currently teaching creative writing and working on her debut short story collection, Denaturing, forthcoming with Aniko Press.
